TSXCS 101

 
1. DROPS.
All Members are allotted (3) throw away races per Season. The riders lowest finish including DNS or DNF is automatically dropped from the point standings at the end of the season. To be eligible for the year-end awards banquet, you must race 10 of the 13 rounds and finish Top 5 overall in your class.

2. SIGN-UP TIMES:

TSXCS offers both pre-registration and in-person.

Online Pre-Registration:
Opens 1 week prior to each round and will close on the Friday before the event. Utilize Pre-Registration and gain access to the “Fast Lane” on race day which expedites you directly to the tech station and allows you to skip the busy paperwork line. 
 
Trackside Sign-Up Times: 
Saturday: 8:00a-11:30a & 1:30p – 3:00p 
Sunday: 7:30a-9:00a & 10:30a-11:30a

*If you choose to sign-up in person please arrive 2.5 hours before your race starts to ensure you can make it through the busy race day sign-up lines. WE RECOMMEND SIGNING UP ONLINE PRIOR TO THE EVENT TO AVOID DELAYS! 

3. SAFETY GEAR:
All riders must have a helmet, goggles, gloves, pants, long-sleeve shirt and boots that go over the ankles. Chest protectors are not required but are recommended.
AMA equipment rules apply.

4. AMA MEMBERSHIP:
Yes, an AMA Membership is required in order to participate in TSXCS

There are four different membership options: $49 Annual Adult membership; $29 Annual Youth (4-11) membership, and a $29 Single Day membership for riders who only compete with us once a year.

The $49 Annual Adult memberships are available online. You will need to call AMA for the $29 Annual Youth (4-11) membership at 1.800.AMA.Join.

If you join online, you can print out your temporary card and use it at registration.

5. TSXCS MEMBERSHIP CARD: 

Anyone who races a TSXCS race is required to have a Membership Card in addition to their AMA membership.  These can be purchased online only at https://www.livelaps.com/joinorganization?TSXCS. Prices vary depending on class. See “fees” page for more info.

6. MONEY ACCEPTED:
Cash is preferred. However, we do accept American Express, MasterCard, Visa and Discover. Checks are not accepted. Gate Fee is CASH ONLY, we will accept card payments at sign up for race entry fees.

7. GATE ADMISSION:
The gate admission is $15 CASH ONLY for everyone 5 years and older.
Everyone, including the rider, pays this fee with the exception of children 5 and under – they’re FREE.

8. PRE-ENTRY:
Pre-entries are non-refundable and can not be transferred to the next round.

9. RESULTS QUESTIONS:
If you want to question or dispute the results, just go to the Sign-up trailer prior to the end of the protest period (30 minutes after results are posted) and ask. Usually, they will be able to explain your results to you and make any corrections. TSXCS is scored electronically, and mistakes do happen, but we try to catch them and correct them before the race day is even over.

10. REFUNDS:
No refunds will be given once you have registered online or in person. Gate entry fees are also non-refundable.  

11. GATE TIMES: 
Friday: 4pm – 10pm 
Saturday: 7am – 10pm 
Sunday: 7am – NOON
 
12. CAMPING: 
Camping at all TSXCS events is free. Quiet time is from 10pm-6am EVERY night. Loud generators must be shut down by 10pm, NO EXCEPTIONS! Most venues do not offer hook-ups so come prepared. Any person caught causing a disturbance during quiet time is subject to being disqualified or will be asked to leave the property with no refund.
 
13. PETS: 
Pets are allowed at TSXCS events unless otherwise posted online. We require all pets to be leashed at ALL TIME! Should your pet cause a disturbance or get off-leash, you will be asked to leave and no refunds will be granted.  
 
14. LIVE-LAPS TRANSPONDER: 
All TSXCS racers are required to use a Live-Laps Transponder at our events. These can be purchased in person at sign-up for $15.00. Live-Laps transponders are good for (1) season. We do not rent transponders! If you already have a Live-laps Transponder, please bring your helmet to sign-up so that we can ensure it works properly. Should your transponder stop functioning during the season or is damaged, it is the racer’s responsibility to purchase a new one. 
 
15. PRACTICE & PRE-RIDING: 
Practice and pre-riding is NOT permitted at any TSXCS event unless otherwise advertised. We do allow racers to walk the track before their event! 
 
16. PIT VEHICLES: Unauthorized pit vehicles are NOT permitted at TSXCS events. Permission forms are available at the registration trailer. No one under the age of 18 is permitted to operate a pit vehicle and all pit vehicles must be covered under a liability insurance policy. You must provide proof of insurance before a pit vehicle pass will be granted. ANYONE caught operating an unauthorized pit vehicle will be subject to event disqualification without a refund. 

Weekend Pit Vehicle Pass: $20.00 

Pit vehicles with four wheels cannot exceed 65″ in width and must not exceed 5mph while in motion. Operators cannot be under the influence of ANY drugs or alcohol. Pit vehicles are to get from POINT A to POINT B, you may not use your pit vehicle to joy ride or explore the property. Pit vehicles cannot be operated at ANY TSXCS event after the last race of the day is over. Violation of any of the above rules will result in racer disqualification and you will be asked to leave the event with no refund.
